"Called to the Wall,” the fifth annual Lenten Via Crucis pilgrimage to the U.S. - Mexico border in support of immigrants, will take place this year on Saturday, April 1st.
Pilgrims will gather at 7:30 a.m. at the Cathedral Center of St. Paul and begin by praying the Stations of the Cross representing Jesus’ journey from the place of his trial to the place of crucifixion in English and Spanish. Pilgrims then will caravan by car to St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, Anaheim, then cross over to the Diocese of San Diego, making a second stop at St. Paul’s Cathedral, San Diego. At each stop participants will continue praying additional stations of the cross.
