To, With, & For youth

The PGYM ministers to, with, and for the youth of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles. As the PGYM ministers to youth, it affirms the call to embody and cultivate God’s love. As the PGYM ministers with youth, it recognizes our co-membership in the body of Christ. As the PGYM ministers for youth, it advocates for the dignity and honor their unique place in all creation. In order to assist the youth of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles in living out their baptismal covenant, the Program Group on Youth and Young Adult Ministry assists parishes to minister to youth beyond their local capacity, supports youth leaders and their families, provides opportunities for youth to broaden their horizons, and develops programs that foster collaboration and builds relationships between congregations.

From MFOL Website:
On March 24, the kids and families of March For Our Lives will take to the streets to demand that their lives and safety become a priority and that we end gun violence and mass shootings in our schools today. March with us in Washington DC or march in your own community. On March 24, the collective voices of the March For Our Lives movement will be heard.

The PGYM would like invite those Youth and Young Adults that want to get involved with this march against gun violence, to join up with other students and families attending.

Hands in Healing Youth Pilgrimage

The Hands in Healing Youth Pilgrimage to the Holy Lands is an act of biblical and spiritual emergence.  Challenges along the way stretch pilgrims spiritually, emotionally, and physically.  Recollection of these challenges gives our youth an insight into their own human character—an inward glance at into the mysterious wrappings of creation.
